The exhibition Mixed Feelings invites you to enter a spatial collage of shifting film scenes, where lived experiences are re-enacted and reimagined through fiction. As reality and imagination blur, moments of imperfection reveal an intimate honesty, inviting viewers into a shared, emotional landscape of memory and change.
Alongside the exhibition, Vita Soul Wilmering invited three people to give a talk about their work. Coming from fields as diverse as medicine, poetry, and historical research, each speaker engages with intimate or deeply personal themes at the heart of their work. In different ways, their talks echo the themes of the exhibition.
