Each Background Evening we offer you a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into the ideas and personal histories that shape the exhibition. For this Background Evening, we invite stand up comedians, poets, writers, spoken word artists – or anyone who relates – for an Open Mic session, to take the stage and explore different ways to deal with daily life complexities and emotions.

Do you feel like everything is fine, everything seems to be happening as it should – and yet somehow it all still feels completely wrong?! Are you ready to compress all your thoughts and emotions into a very compact discharge session that does not exceed 5 minutes? You are very welcome to apply and take the stage during the Background Evening of The Mind The Heart.
