Transforming the space of Das Leben am Haverkamp, the exhibition extends the film into an immersive environment. Childhood memories, seasonal celebrations, family history and mythical figures are woven into a theatrical universe where familiar symbols quietly shift their meaning. What first appears playful gradually reveals an undercurrent of longing, uncertainty and change, suggesting that memory is never fixed but continually rewritten through the present.

Rooted in a personal move from Serbia to the Netherlands, Igor uses the past not as something to simply reconstruct, but as raw material for new myths that speak to displacement, belonging and the ways identities are continually negotiated. Through film, sculpture and scenography, everyday gestures and inherited traditions become stages on which personal history and collective imagination meet.
