How are we co-shaping the reality we share?
Exploring the crafts and knowledge residing in the body ๐Ÿ” landscape.

Geo terra lingual explores the crafts and knowledge residing in the body ๐Ÿ” landscape: Being shaped together, affecting one another. This evening aims to let the body be changed by the land, and the land be changed by the presence and interaction of the body. Before the industrial revolution and regimented languages, languages were โ€˜wildingโ€™ with the land they lived in; seasonally adapting, evolving, and shaping in a different way to contemporary language.

Dried leaves of late autumn and the distillation of tree bark will mark the opening of the evening, in the performance lecture of Tereza Silon. Lawrence McGuire explores the bodily language aspect of the program as a sound poet who evokes tangibility of speech. Working with the fundamentals of fabric, mythology and ancient knowledge of thread forming, symbolism and archeology of spindle, Akash Kumar reminds us of forgotten practices living within the body.

Join the evening of participatory experiences, where time is created with hands and tongues.
