Description:
In the contemporary art exhibition ESC 2035 (II): We kept going, the narrative reaches a locked state where rhythm refuses to break. Moving from the dissolving presence observed in the project’s first phase, this second chapter inhabits an “architecture of fatigue” defined by engineered lighting and repetitive gestures. Hosted in collaboration with At SUNSET — a former Scheveningen girls’ school — the site’s history of discipline grounds a script that no longer requires human input to continue.
Through a closed-circuit logic, seven artists establish a permanent frequency where endurance replaces advancement. Their work explores a world running on inherited muscle memory: a reality where technology is a condition and repetition has replaced the capacity for change. Curated by 0—1 Gallery, the exhibition captures a future that refuses to stop, leaving only the relentless routine of the machine.
Artists: Andrei Nacu, Bas van Wieringen, Bea Targosz, Joan Horrach, Lukas Zerbst, Matteo Vettorello, Santiago Colombo Migliorero.
