Spuiplein, The Hague
Come to the final of the World Cup and celebrate with us the closing of an inspiring season of the Open Paviljoen 2026. We look back on a successful month, in which we got to know countless perspectives. We thank you for the beautiful encounters, conversations, music, dance, presentations, and new and old collaborations that have enriched the cultural heart of The Hague.
Our finissage coincides with the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The sport dates back to the 3rd century BC, and since 1930 the World Cup has been held. It is precisely in these moments that a country comes together. To close the inspiring month of the Open Paviljoen, we will watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup together, right on Spuiplein.
The Netherlands is participating as one of the 48 countries in the World Cup. Turkey is preparing for its third World Cup participation in history. Curaçao is the smallest country ever to take part in the tournament this year. Whichever team you support, we will watch the final together! We will provide drinks, join us!
The Open Paviljoen is a place for encounter, exchange, and imagination. From 13 June to 19 July 2026, it will host a cultural programme featuring workshops, conversations, performances, and lectures. Local initiatives, national voices, and international thinkers come together in an open setting where art is not only presented, but actively shapes our society.
