Raquel Maulwurf: A Force of Nature at Livingstone Gallery

The exhibition Raquel Maulwurf, A Force of Nature offers an overview of the artist’s twenty-year collaboration with Livingstone Gallery, with a focus on works from the past three years.

Raquel Maulwurf’s monumental charcoal drawings stem from her fascination with humanity’s destructive drive: the devastation of our own environment through war and ecocide. The exhibition includes works from series such as Black Sea and Burning, as well as earlier themes like FLAK, Trümmerfelder, Zeppelin and New York 11 IX ’01.

In addition to impressive solo exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam and Kunstmuseum Den Haag, her work is represented in numerous museum collections, including the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Teylers Museum, Rijksmuseum Twenthe, Museum Voorlinden, Museum Arnhem, Museum Het Valkhof, Museum van Bommel van Dam, Museum MORE and the Prefectural Art Museum Nagasaki.
